All About Bats at Blandford Nature Center

As Halloween approaches, Blandford Nature Center is honoring the season’s favorite mammal, with two programs about bats on October 27th. This day is family-oriented and geared toward children ages 7 and up.

The first session runs from 2:00-3:00 pm and is hosted by the Organization for Bat Conservation and the Cranbrook Institute of Science. This session will cost $5 for members and $6 for non-members, and will discuss everything about bats.

From 3:00-4:00 pm there will be a workshop to build your own “bat box” that can house up to sixty bats. The cost for this session in $30 to members and $36 to non-members.

To reserve a spot for either of these programs call 735-6240 and to learn more about the Organization for Bat Conservation visit their website here.
