Volunteers and Interns

Welcome, volunteers!

We could not do without you. WMEAC has meaningful opportunities for you. Your help is appreciated! Whether you would enjoy donating a few hours of your time or want to get more extensively involved with WMEAC, we have something for you to do. Please download the Volunteer and Intern form below for more information. Send to info@wmeac.org.

Interested in rain garden volunteer opportunities? Send to patricia@raingardens.org.

We are delighted to consider non-student volunteers for the internship positions below. Please take a look!

WMEAC welcomes internship inquiries.

WMEAC hosts interns from many colleges and universities. Most WMEAC internships are on a volunteer basis, with all the benefits of hands-on experience in an environmental nonprofit. We have welcomed writers, those with social media marketing interests, biology and resource management majors, engineering  and sustainability majors and others. WMEAC interns leave with new skills, a portfolio of work, a letter of reference, and WMEAC's appreciation.

If we have current internship positions available, they are listed below.

If you are interested in being a WMEAC intern, please let us know which position you are applying for. Send a cover letter, resume, and Volunteer and Intern form to info@wmeac.org. Thanks!
