Stop Asian Carp!

Michigan’s West coast is facing an urgent threat: Asian Carp. Asian Carp is an invasive species that will destroy our environment, our tourism and fisheries economy and our communities.  Take action now to stop Asian Carp.

1. Go to http://www.stopasiancarp.com, a site set up by Michigan's Attorney General, Mike Cox to help in the battle to create a permanent ecological barrier between Chicago shipping locks and Lake Michigan.
2. Write to Lisa Jackson, the head of the EPA at http://www.epa.gov/region5/answers/r5comment.htm and
3. President Barak Obama at http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact

Tell them to act swiftly and with urgency to stop Asian Carp from entering the Lake Michigan basin and ruining our water resources, our economy and our communities. Tell them to protect 20% of the world’s fresh water resources today!
