Got kids in diapers? You can help set a Guinness World Record! The Great Cloth Diaper Change is looking to set the record for most cloth diapers changed simultaneously at noon on Saturday April 23.
The Diaper Change is taking place worldwide in over 400 locations, and you can participate right here in Grand Rapids. Hop Scotch Children’s Store and Bootyful Baby Boutique are organizing the local event at 12 o’clock noon at 963 Cherry St., Grand Rapids. To register, simply go online at www.hopscotchstore.com.
Paricipants will receive a commemorative prefold diaper and be entered for a chance to win fabulous door prize giveaways, including diaper packages from local manufacturer Bootyful Baby Boutique, Bummis, Fuzzibunz and more!
The Great Cloth Diaper Change 2011 was started by Judy Aagard of Tiny Tots in California, who wanted a way to show our country and the world that cloth diapers are a real option for today’s families. Cloth diapers cost less and are a much more environmentally friendly alternative to disposable diapers.
Participants may contribute $1 (or more) at all North American events to benefit the Real Diaper Association, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working to help families across the U.S. and Canada find and use reusable cloth diapers.
