It’s that time of the year again—Celebrate Earth Day with the WMEAC at the second annual Blue Tie Ball.
Join us for an evening of dinner, drinks and water protection. Share your passion for preserving one of Michigan’s most precious resources. Enjoy dinner featuring local, fresh cuisine from Kangaroo Kitchen, cocktails by Art of the Table and music by the Paschke Trio.
We will also celebrate a public servant who has advocated for and provided leadership on environmental protection, by awarding them with the Heartwell Environmental Legacy Award.
At the end of the night, WMEAC will host an “experience auction.” This type of auction will allow guests to purchase experiences rather than tangible items. This year we have a very exciting line up of experiences to bid on—stay tuned for sneaks peeks on Facebook and Twitter.
The Blue Tie Ball will take place on Wednesday, April 20th, 2016 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the Goei Center at 818 Butterworth St SW, Grand Rapids.
All proceeds will benefit WMEAC’s water protection programs, including Rain Barrel Workshops, Teach for the Watershed and Rain to Roots. Tickets are on sale now—both members and non-members can purchase tables or individual tickets here.
