Compost 101 Class

Blandford Nature Center will hold an event on Thursday, June 9, from 6 to 7 p.m. that will teach attendees how organic household waste can be used as compost in flower or vegetable gardens.

Topics of discussion will include: acceptable compost ingredients, maintenance, placement, and how to utilize it.

The event has a $3 fee and will be held at the Blandford Farm, 3143 Milo St NW.
