Join us for an event that builds on the momentum of civic engagement in the community beyond the presidential election cycle. As we see senate bills, house bills, and important community decisions at a county and city level continue, we should move forward with the work we have begun around organizing and education. The voice of the constituency is necessary, especially in historically marginalized populations. In decision-making spaces where environmental and sustainability issues are of great importance, we can amplify our voices during this event. Panelists will discuss the Line 5 oil pipeline, Indigenous land use, air quality, proposal one’s success in the recent election, and continuous civic engagement.
