Community Conversations on Climate Change Lunch Break Talk – Growing Your Own Food in Muskegon County:  Regulations, Rights, and Resources

Join WMEAC and the Michigan Chapter of the Sierra Club for a virtual lunch hour conversation on growing your own food in Muskegon County. Learn about local regulations, your rights, and resources to help with presenter, Lauren Tarr.

Lauren Tarr  was raised on the shores of Lake Michigan and in the suburbs of Detroit. She is currently in Syracuse, New York pursuing a PhD in Environmental Policy at the State University of New York. Her research focuses on community-based conservation and environmental justice. She also holds a Master’s in Public Administration from Syracuse University, a Master’s in environmental studies from SUNY ESF, and a BA in Environmental Science from Northern Michigan University. In addition to her studies, she serves as a governance facilitator for the Global Alliance for the Rights of Nature Youth Hub.
