Come join WMEAC for a free workshop regarding the issues stormwater runoff can create on your property and how you solve these problems using sustainable and eco-friendly solutions.
Stormwater runoff is created when rainwater falls on surfaces such as roads, sidewalks, parking lots or buildings and cannot soak into the ground. Instead it “runs off” and can pick up harmful pollutants such as road salt, oil and gasoline, animal waste, and other chemicals.
Stormwater runoff will carry its pollution into our streams and rivers and threaten our environment. It can also cause issues for property owners such as flooding, erosion, and water damage.
WMEAC will be providing 25 rain barrels for this event. If you are interested in assembling a rain barrel at the end of this workshop, please send your information to Kyle Hart at T4Watershed@wmeac.org
