The WMEAC Policy Committee is made up of volunteers from professional, civic, and community backgrounds to help guide and influence WMEAC’s policy statements, priorities, and increase capacity to achieve committee goals. This monthly meeting is an opportunity for coordination, discussion, voting, and networking.
While the policy committee is an open committee, please communicate with Executive Director Bill Wood prior to attending to provide proper context, preparation, and gain insight into your personal goals in advocacy and policy efforts to maintain a safe and productive space for dedicated volunteers. Volunteers with experience with policy analysis, grassroots organizing, and knowledge about local and state politics are encouraged to inquire, but all experience levels are welcome. Passion to protect Michigan’s natural resources like water protection and support of climate resiliency efforts are required!
Please email email@example.com with any questions for or about the policy committee.
