Being the first Gold LEED Certified art museum in the world, the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM) can boast as a leader in sustainability. The GRAM will be showcasing its architectural and green features on September 15 at 11 am during its Green Features Tour. For an hour and a half, attendees will be guided by FAIA LEED AP architect Joyce S. Lee, who has won numerous public and environmental awards while living in New York–she recently relocated to West Michigan. A lunch will be offered post tour with the opportunity to meet ArtPrize artists and be the first to experience the ArtPrize Transformation exhibit.
Participating in the Green Features Tour offers eligibility for AIA and USGBC continuing education credits. Tickets are $40 for non-members and $35 for members, with proceeds benefitting the GRAM. For more information visit the GRAM website and click here to register.
