Celebrate conservation, recycling, and the natural world with your family from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday April 16 at John Ball Zoo.
Just about anything–furniture, computers, cellsphones–can be recycled at the Party’s drive-up recycling center. Endagered and threatened species will be showcased with information about how to help protect them here in Grand Rapids. Local environmental organizations are setting up over 25 booths, stations, and demonstrations. Some of the Party activities include planting a seedling to take home and building a crown or hat out of recycled materials.
Party for the Planet is part of the American Zoo and Aquarium Association event taking place at zoos across the country.
Admission to Party for the Planet is $5/adults, $4/kids 13-3, and free/2 and under.
