Grand Rapids Public Museum

The Grand Rapids Public Museum has a long history as the premier educational resource in the West Michigan community. Founded in 1854, the Museum is housed within several facilities in and around Grand Rapids, including the Van Andel Museum Center located downtown, community archives, an observatory, and a historic home.
