Operations Manager

bcousineau@wmeac.org

Bettina Cousineau landed in Michigan and fell in love with the natural environment. Prior to West Michigan, she lived in and explored a variety of wild and civilized landscapes, from the Western Rockies to New York City.

Bettina was an Exhibit Project Manager at several museums, including Grand Rapids’ Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum, where she worked for 25 years. She graduated with a BA, cum laude, in Russian Studies from Hunter College. She is an artist, and her work has been exhibited around the country.

She has worked and volunteered for several non-profits in a variety of capacities, including as founder and Executive Director of a grass-roots organization that provided healing modalities for people living with PTSD.

Bettina has always loved being outside, even from an early age. As an infant, she would only take her nap on the front porch — no matter the weather or temperature. She likes to read, drink hot chocolate, and she hikes every day with her rescue dog.
