Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids – WMEAC is happy to have Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids as a WMEAC Business Member! The Dominican Sisters of Grand Rapids provide spiritual support that fosters greater healing and understanding and have a focus in social justice, sustainability and the environment. The Dominican Sisters serve in schools and institutions of higher learning, healthcare and hospice and social service ministries. The Sisters’ Care of Earth Committee focuses on respect and accountability for the earth. In addition to working closely with the Eco-Justice Committee of the Dominican Alliance and the Dominican Sisters Conference on issues of relationship and responsibility for the Earth, the order installed a prairie habitat at their Marywood campus in 2005.
