Native to Michigan as well as a longtime resident of Missouri with a passion for sustainability & design, Kyle Faulds began studying at St. Charles Community College. He is an alumnus after volunteering as a Steward for Missouri Stream Clean, SAGE Ally & Iron pours near Cottleville, MO. Feeling a fervor for developing skills in Fine Arts after an A.A, achieved KCAD Alumni status for B.F.A in Sustainable Sculpture & Functional Design with a minor in Art History after returning from Missouri & remaining a resident of West Michigan.

While pursuing Thesis programs with Ferris State University, Kyle participated in the New Orleans Humanities Studio post Katrina 2010; Co-Founding the ‘Primary Reusers’ ensuing ArtPrize One – Four & Site:Lab Grand Rapids, MI debuted with a recycled mixed-medium installation titled Fire & Ice inspired by Robert Frost. Concurrently nominated for Treasurer and President of the Green Council in consecutive years. During this time building & maintaining a Fine Arts & Sculpture business for private collectors & garden designs abroad, including Uithoorn, NL & Oahu Hawaii, USA. Closing March 2020 & rebranded Amour D’Art Studios, highlighting reclaimed material constructions and locally sourced & sustainable mixed-medium sculptures.

Time with ‘West Michigan Environmental Action Council Education Foundation’ began in their youth as a Volunteer with the Mayors Grand River Cleanup as an undergraduate and came full circle on September 9th, 2023, at Sixth Street Park, Grand Rapids, MI. During undergraduate, WMEAC became a continual benchmark between the Green Minds of KCAD & Faculty alike. Continuing development towards A+ Certification with the State of Michigan Road Safety Education & pivoting post-pandemic into a role as CCO fostering compliance & administrative skills successfully expanding with Google endorsements.

Now nestling into Grand Rapids, MI residency with a dynamic partner Heather dedicated to Native biodiversity restoration & emphasis on Herbal foraging, where we are a feline-friendly GSA family.
