Mary Robinson has a 30 year background in international and domestic community-based development. She will oversee the creation of WMEAC’s fund development department.
After growing up in West Michigan, Robinson spent 10 years working in international development for the Peace Corps, OEF International and Save the Children Federation. After returning to Grand Rapids, she has pursued a career in non-profit management, leading South East Economic Development (SEED) and working in fund development with Camp Henry and at Girl Scouts of Michigan Shore to Shore. Robinson also had a parallel career as an instructor at Davenport University and GVSU. She has a BA from Colgate University and a Master’s degree from the School for International Training.
Robinson is a board member for the Heritage Hill Association and belongs to the Women in Development networking group, the Association for Fundraising Professionals and INFORUM.
